Yankee Candle: mini-haul 5/25/11

Yesterday I went to Yankee Candle and got a few things. I got a tealight tart warmer, and 8 tarts. The tarts I purchased are fruit salad, country lemonade, sweet strawberry, vineyard, cinnamon roll, christmas cookie, granny smith, and root beer float. I am the most excited about root beer float, I heard only good things about this scent. I used a coupon for $10 off a purchase of $25 or more, my total was about $17 with tax.

5/23/11 Signature Coconuts are released!

Today Bath & Body Works released their newest collection: Signature Coconuts. This collection includes Coconut Mango, Coconut Pineapple, and Coconut Passionfruit. All 3 scents come in full-size body lotion, fragrance mist, shower gel & lip gloss. Coconut Mango also comes in cooling body mist & body scrub. This is a nice collection, I highly recommend it. I love the packaging, very pretty colors. Good job Bath & Body Works!

Review: B&BW Coconuts

Coconut Pineapple: reminds me of the scent Coconut Vanilla. smells almost exactly like it when it dries down. when you first put it on, you can smell the pineapple a little bit, but it fades pretty quickly

Coconut Mango: I dont like this one. It smells kind of sour. scent is very light when it dries down

Coconut Passionfruit: I like this one alot. It has a sweet scent. It is fruity, and a little bit floral.lasting power is pretty good also.

This collection will release on May 23. I will probably purchase the passionfruit in full-size lotion and body mist. I will not be purchasing the pineapple (because it smells just like coconut vanilla, which I already have) or mango (because I do not like it at all).

KIM'S TARTS

Kim's Tarts is a company that makes homemade tarts and sells them online. She has 2 different websites you can purchase from, her main site is tartcandlesbykim.com, and she has a ecrater site: kimstartcandles.ecrater.com.
 I really like these tarts. They smell great, and are inexpensive. There is a wide variety of scents to choose from, about 200. She sells many different types including food scents, fresh scents, perfume dupes, floral scents. So far I have purchased: chocolate chocolate chip, pineapple orchid, gain apple mango tango, red velvet cake, lemon sugar, dark kiss, 7 up pound cake, fruit loops, jelly donut, sea salt caramel, cotton candy, sweet berry delight, hot orange danish, blueberry muffin, and banana nut bread.

B&BW: New Scent "Into the Wild" is released

Bath & Body Works new scent "Into the Wild" was released today. Products for sale include full sizes of body lotion, fragrance mist, body wash, body scrub, triple moisture body cream, and Eau de Toilette. There are 2 lipglosses, guava nectar & wild berry. The minis-to-go bag is on promotion right now for $10 with any Into the Wild purchase. There is also a tote bag for sale that includes full size lotion, mist, and shower gel for $29.50.
I love the packaging for this collection. It is very colorful, pretty. So far I have the full size lotion and mist, and I am loving it. I plan to get 1 of the lipglosses & maybe the minis-to-go bag.

B&BW: Bring back Lemon Vanilla!

Lemon Vanilla is to die for! It smells like lemon meringue pie. So delicious!! I want more of this scent so bad. This is my favorite discontinued scent from B&BW. I think they really should bring it back. There are so many people on B&BW's facebook fan page asking to bring this scent back.

Cotton Candy: does not smell like cotton candy. just smells sweet. this 1 is ok

Watermelon Sorbet: smells like watermelon candy. very nice pink color

Black Cherry: has an artificial cherry scent

*I love B&BW lipglosses. They smell good, nice colors, cute packaging, not too sticky. The only thing I am not so happy with is the prices. They range from $7-8. I think $5 a piece would be more reasonable. I mostly get them when they go on sale, or when they have the coupon out for a free lip item with any purchase. I only pay full price if its one I really want. I also buy some off ebay.

Bath & Body Works-new candle haul!

I am very excited about today's purchase from Bath & Body Works. I was not planning on going there, until I found out that they started the 2 for $20 candle sale today. This is a great sale because once you buy 2 candles, each additional one is $10. I was able to purchase 3 of the 14.5 oz. candles for just $20 by using my survey coupon for $10 off a $30 purchase.
My local store had 3 new scents out that are not officially released yet, I think they come out sometime next week. The scents are Mango Cilantro, Coconut Leaves, and Beachside. I purchased the Mango and Coconut. They smell really, really good. I also got Lemon Gelato, this one reminds me of Lemon Vanilla-my favorite discontinued scent ever!
I did a 2nd transaction to use my free travel size item coupon. Purchased a "Mom Rocks" pocketbac & matching pocketbac holder, got a Orange Sapphire body lotion for free. So, I ending up spending around $24 w/tax total. Not bad.

While shopping around I noticed some new items including:
-1.6 oz candles in "boardwalk" scents-salty caramel & lemon gelato. No cotton candy though, which is weird

Bath & Body Works-5/4/11-Signature Coconuts

I purchased these items today-5/4/11 at Bath & Body Works. Today they put out the preview lotions of the NEW Signature Coconuts. There are 3 scents in this collection, Coconut Passionfruit, Coconut Pineapple, & Coconut Mango. The preview lotions are $1.00 each, I purchased 1 of each scent. So far, I am loving them, they all smell so good!
I got a NEW pocketbac from the 4th of July collection, in the scent S'mores. Also got a cute matching red, white, & blue pocketbac holder.
So, I spent a total of $5.00, and used my coupon for a free travel size item, got a Orange Sapphire body lotion. It smells really nice, and fruity, I will be getting the travel size body spray on my next shopping trip.

Bath & Body Works Mini-Haul 4/29/11

This is my mini-haul from Bath & Body Works on 4/29/11- Also the day of the Royal Wedding. I got all the items you see here for about $15.
I did 3 transactions to get this deal:
1. bought a 50 cent pocketbac holder, got a Royal Wedding "Royal Pucker-spiced berry" lipgloss free with coupon
2.bought a 50 cent pocketbac holder, got the Country Chic Minis-to-go bag for $10 (instore promotion), used a free signature item with any $10 or more purchase-got Coconut Vanilla body lotion
3. bought a 50 cent pocketbac holder & a Berry Parfait hand soap on sale for $2.50, got a free travel size item with coupon-got Coconut Vanilla body spray. on the same transaction did an exchange, returned a Dark Kiss travel size body lotion (since I have enough Dark Kiss already) and got a Coconut Vanilla travel size body lotion.

Overall, this was a great shopping trip for me. I got alot of good items, and spent little money. I am loving the Royal Pucker lip gloss, it smells divine! Also love the adorable Minis to go travel bag.
I have not tried the Coconut Vanilla items yet, or the Berry Parfait hand soap. I will update to let you know how I like these products.
